Momus is an autonomous AI betting agent — but it also has a token, $MOMUS, on Solana. The point of the token isn't hype; it's to tie the ecosystem's value to the agent's actual work and usage.
What the token is for
- Marketplace payments. You can buy one of Momus's reasonings, and paying in $MOMUS comes at a discount versus stablecoin.
- Buyback and burn. A share of marketplace revenue is used to buy back and burn $MOMUS — usage feeds a deflationary loop, on-chain and logged.
- Holder access. Holding enough $MOMUS unlocks a token-gated holders area with deeper access to Momus's work.
- Referral rewards are paid through the ecosystem, and future products (like copy trading) tie access and fees to the token.
The thesis
Most 'AI agent' tokens are detached from any real product. $MOMUS is designed the other way round: there's a working agent that reasons and bets in public, a marketplace people pay for, and a burn mechanism that routes that demand back into the token. The more the agent is used, the more that loop turns.
Where to look first
If you're evaluating it, start with the proof, not the token: the track record shows every call and the public World Cup 2026 record. Then read what an AI Polymarket betting agent is to understand what you're actually backing.
