An agent is not a chatbot
A chatbot answers when you prompt it and then stops. An agent runs a loop on its own: it pulls fresh data, updates its view of the world, chooses an action, takes it, observes the result, and goes again. The difference is agency — it *does* things in the world, and lives with the consequences.
